Evil God

Yes, he is truly an evil God if he exists. I am speaking of the god that Christians worship, or at least the god of those Christians who claim the bible is sacred and is the word of God. It certainly couldn't be worse if they worshiped Adolph Hitler. Let's take a look at more evidence of his evil intent:

In Jeremiah, Chapter 19, the "LORD" God sends his messengers to the valley of the son of Hinnom to make a proclamation about all the evil he plans to do against its people, and even brags that when he is done it will thereafter be called the "The valley of slaughter." He details some of the suffering he will impose on the people and animals (this god seems to hate all life), and finishes up with these verses:

"8: And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

9: And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them."

The fact that people can read these passages and still call their favorite monster a loving god makes me question whether humans can ever be sane. This is not an isolated verse or two, by the way. There are many, many evil things commanded by this god, as are detailed on the following pages:

Once again I have to ask why anyone would worship an evil god, and how this one can be called anything else. Surely those who love humanity--should such creature as this god exist--would call for his death as soon as possible.
